How FrontRows works

Getting set up

Create your FrontRows account
Sign up at frontrows.com. No credit card required — the Starter plan is free for up to 25 paying members.

Connect your Stripe account
Authorise FrontRows to receive webhook events from your Stripe account via Stripe Connect. You keep full control of your pricing, billing, and customer data. FrontRows only reads subscription events.

Connect your platforms
Add each platform you want FrontRows to manage — Discord, Ghost, Kit, Transistor, or YouTube. Each integration takes a few minutes and uses the platform's official API.

Map products to access rules
For each Stripe product, define what access it unlocks. For example: your Pro product grants the Discord role 'Pro Member', adds subscribers to the Ghost tier 'Premium', and tags them as 'pro-member' in Kit.

Share your join link
FrontRows generates a join link for each product. Share it with your audience. Members pick a tier, pay through Stripe, and get access — automatically.
How member access flows
Every access change is triggered by a real Stripe event — nothing is scheduled or polled.
Stripe sends a subscription created event. FrontRows processes it within seconds and grants access on every platform you've configured for that product.
Stripe sends a subscription updated event. FrontRows revokes the access from the previous tier and grants the access for the new tier — across all platforms simultaneously.
Stripe sends a subscription cancelled or updated event. FrontRows revokes the member's access at the end of their billing period.
Stripe sends a payment failed event. FrontRows revokes access immediately. If the member updates their payment method and the subscription reactivates, access is restored automatically.

Common questions
How long does setup take?
Most creators complete the full setup — Stripe connection, platform integrations, and product mapping — in under 30 minutes.
Do I need to change anything on my Stripe account?
No. FrontRows connects to your existing Stripe account via Stripe Connect. Your products, prices, and customer data stay exactly as they are.
What if I already have members?
FrontRows manages members who join through FrontRows join links going forward. Existing members on connected platforms are not affected by the initial setup.
Can I test FrontRows before going live?
Yes. You can connect your Stripe account in test mode and run through the full join flow with test payment details before enabling it for real members.
What happens if FrontRows goes offline?
Stripe retries webhook events automatically. FrontRows processes any missed events as soon as it comes back online, ensuring no access grants or revocations are lost.
