How to set it up

Connect your Stripe account
Authorise FrontRows via Stripe Connect. Your pricing, billing, and customer data remain entirely under your control.

Connect your Ghost site
In FrontRows, enter your Ghost Admin API key and site URL. FrontRows uses Ghost's official Admin API — this works with Ghost Pro and self-hosted Ghost alike.

Map your Stripe products to Ghost tiers or labels
Choose which Ghost membership tier or label each Stripe product should grant. You can map a product to a tier, a label, or both.

Share your join link
Direct your audience to the FrontRows join link for each product. Members pay through Stripe and are added to Ghost automatically.

Ghost membership stays in sync automatically
New subscribers are added to Ghost immediately. Upgrades and downgrades update their tier. Cancellations remove or downgrade their access at period end.

Does this work with Ghost's built-in paid tiers?
FrontRows manages Ghost members via the Admin API, which gives full control over membership tiers and labels. Your Ghost tier structure stays exactly as you set it up — FrontRows places members in the right tier based on their Stripe subscription.
Does this work with self-hosted Ghost?
Yes, as long as your Ghost instance has a publicly reachable Admin API endpoint. Both Ghost Pro and self-hosted installations are supported.
What Ghost plan do I need?
Any Ghost plan that provides Admin API access — Ghost Starter and above on Ghost Pro, or any self-hosted installation.
What happens to my existing Ghost members?
FrontRows only manages the members it creates or is explicitly configured to manage. Existing Ghost members are not affected by setting up the integration.
Can I use custom labels in Ghost?
Yes. You can map any Stripe product to any Ghost label. Labels are applied in addition to the membership tier and can be used to drive Ghost's content segmentation and email filtering.
